What can I expect from Hillcrest holiday Homes?

We pride ourselves on the quality of our holiday homes. The very concept of the homes are based on what we would expect in accommodation for a special short break. Our holiday homes are all about comfort and style.

In terms of equipment, all holiday houses are well equipped to allow you a peaceful and enjoyable stay and many offer much much more. All the holiday homes have linen and towels. The kitchens will be fully equipped for the amount of guests the property can sleep and this will include pots, pans etc. Travel cots and high chairs available please let us know in advance and we can make sure they are ready for you arrival

Please note there is no washing machine in the chalets but the hosts are happy to assist if able.

Can I bring a pet with me?

Unfortunately pets are not allowed.

What’s my arrival and departure time?

You can arrive at the holiday homes at 3pm on your arrival day and end at 10am on your departure day unless otherwise agreed. This gives the owner and housekeepers time to prepare the chalet for incoming guests.

On some occasions it may be possible for you to arrive or depart at different times, but in most cases the owner will only commit to this within the last 7 days prior to your stay. We will send you details of how to gain access to your holiday home and the owner or housekeeper contact details 7 days before your arrival.

Should you wish to arrange different timings for arrival or departure, please contact the Owner within 7 days of your arrival.

Should you wish to arrive on a different day to that stated, please let us know and we will endeavour to help you.

Is there parking?

There is a maximum of 2 cars per chalet any additional vehicles will be requested to use the parking facilities in the village a short walk away.

We respectfully ask that you do not use on street parking outside of Hillcrest due to limited space for residents.

Is smoking allowed?

There is no smoking permitted in any of our properties including vapes. We ask you dispose of cigarettes ends responsibly.

Do we have to clean the property at the end of our stay?

We expect that it will be left reasonably tidy but a cleaner will be coming in. There is cleaning equipment available for use as you may need during your stay.

What should I do if I have a complaint about the accommodation?

We work hard to make sure that everything about your stay is enjoyable and relaxing. In the unlikely event that something does go wrong it is very important that you inform the owners Michael and Eileen immediately.

You can do this through the emergency contact details provided. Do not wait until you return home. By this time, the chance to actively help is likely to have passed; our details are on the booking information.

Can I arrange grocery delivery?

You are more than welcome to arrange a supermarket to deliver food to your holiday cottage. Just give the full holiday cottage address as displayed in your final balance email and be sure to include your mobile number when making your food delivery booking.

Please make sure that your delivery is ordered for after your holiday cottage check in time, and at a time when you are certain to be in the holiday cottage.
